The Norwegian black metallers performed in front of 43,000 people at the festival (photo) — described in an official press release as "a new crowd record."
"Repined Bastard Nation" comes off the band's latest CD, "Volcano", available in the U.S. through the Sony Music imprint EatUrMusic, the label run by SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist Daron Malakian.
"Volcano" was SATYRICON's first release for the Scandinavian branch of Capitol Records, which originally issued the CD in September 2002.
